Hilton Sunday

A rest day today so we thought that we would give Hilton a little surprise by giving him a tidy-up. He has been doing a great job so it is the least we could do!

Some of the places he has taken us have been breathtaking and fascinating. On occasions he made it passed the editors cut, but so often he has ended up on the cutting-room floor.  So, he can have his own moment in the diary today.

Our first night on the road at the Merrie Lion- great beer here too!

The beautiful North Wales and that magnificent Laburnum Arch.

One of the delightful Beau Villages - Joigny on l’Yonne River  in France.

The majestic Dijon - the centre of historical Burgundy.

And, the picturesque Doubs Valley.

Time for some reflection at Florentin.

Feeling safe and secure under the ramparts at Besançon.

First night in Switzerland at a very pretty Porrentruy.

The medieval village of St Ursanne, just delightful!

And, the baroque town of Solothurn - well worth the visit.

Switzerland’s Grand Canyon, Creux du Van, and the Val-de-Travers.

The Gorges de L’Areuse and the exquisite water falls and gorges.

At Neuchâtel for Hilton Sunday!
